The Lofts at River East
This vintage Streeterville seven-story, 530,000 sq. ft. building underwent an 18- month gut rehab that converted the former shipping terminal into 285 apartment units ranging in size from one to three bedrooms. The project called for unusual painting techniques to give the 100 unique floor plans, amenities areas and 10,000 sq. ft. roof deck a one-of-a-kind personality.
- High-performance coatings were used on the exterior rooftop steel, unit balcony steel and various storefront metals
- Top-of-the-line commercial paint was applied inside the units and corridors while protecting the exposed wood deck
- High-end wallcoverings were hung in the building’s common areas: elevator lobbies, entertainment room and weight room
- Fireproofed and water-marked exposed wood decks throughout the building were stained for a clean, uniform look
